They decided to hold an Engagement Party at Sydney Park and invited their close friends and family along.
The Champagne flowed throughout the afternoon and conversation was relaxed.
Until...
"Uh, excuse me everyone..."
"...I just want to say thank you for coming along to our Engagement Party, it really means a lot to us. As you all know we also just came back from overseas and we have ultimately decided we will not be getting married in Australia..."
"...because we got married in Vegas instead!!"
"See?"
*Cheer!*
And now a word from the Bride's Father...
"Well, um..."
"...what can I say? Good luck to them! On with the drinks!"
And with that said the celebrations truly kicked off!
"Well...none of us saw that one coming, but I guess the clue was in you wearing your Wedding Dress all along, right?"
